Weekly Friday afternoon peace vigils in downtown Woodbury are continuing since they were first held July 1. They are being organized by the Peace and Social Concerns Committee of Woodbury Friends Meeting.
Each Friday there is a peace vigil in Woodbury in the center of town in front of the old courthouse at Broad and Delaware from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in front of lots of rush hour traffic.
The Peace and Social Concerns Committee of Woodbury Friends Meeting says it has extra signs but those attending can bring their own. According to the group, there is excellent bus service to Woodbury as there are several lines that run through the center of town. The stop is "Courthouse."
